Little Houses

As you might have noticed I love little houses- I have been seeing them all over for the past few years, and now lately more than ever.  Here are a few of mine...

new photos

So i made a light box for taking some new photos for Etsy, and it worked out pretty well.  I had the issue of having to wait until there was sun (ha!) in order to take pictures.... so...

I got 4 full-spectrum light bulbs,  built a little box from foam core, and the most important part-- read the instruction manual for my camera.  It turns out, that you can change the setting for the type of lighting conditions. (seems so obvious- doesn't it?)

Anyway- that did the trick-

(this is a picture of my new paisley zipper pouch)

It's been a long time since my last post....(why does coming back to a blog feel like a confession?)

hey there!  I don't know how some people keep up with their blogs.... What with the Christmas printing season starting in July, and then Valentine's Day after that, I haven't had a spare minute- Glad to have so many orders- for sure!  But sometimes I got very tired of working everyday 12 hours a day- really.

So goes a self-employed artists life.

Well, I have to go make a light box to take some new product photos.  A box lined in white paper, with 4 full spectrum bulbs.  I'll let you know how it works.

summer time

It's been such beautiful sunny weather- lots of inspiring views....

It has been great sleeping in the teepee- you can even see the stars at night through the smoke opening.  And it's next to the creek, so there is a beautiful lullaby to sing you to sleep.....
