Amazing Book

I highly recommend this book- if just for the fact it tells the story of the NW forests.  But also little stories within stories- like- did you know? a sea otter has a little pocket that he keeps a sharp rock in for opening oysters (but they take it away from him in captivity because he hits it against the glass)   I love that!

It's not a new book, so should be found in the library or local used book store!  (that picture is/was a real tree)

Rufino Tamayo

One of my favorite artists- Rufino Tamayo- I just love the colors and subject matter!
